Best Pizza in Poughkeepsie

Wow!!! Went there today for lunch and this place does not disappoint! What a refreshing change of pace from the dull/basic pizza joints that the hudson valley has to offer. Atmosphere is modern, and clean. Rudy (head chef) is such a nice guy and had great recommendations. Food is phenomenal! Pizza is to die for! Great size slices and crust is the best part..CRUNCH on every bite! I'll be heading back for dinners and will be calling to get my events catered from Herbs & Dough from now on.

Herbs & Dough absolutely blew us away! Hands down, one of the best pizzas we have ever had. We ordered their Herbs & Dough Specialty Pizza and it was phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp , and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We also tried their meatball appetizer. Second time, still the charm!! First time was for the Prix Fixe menu ( looking so forward to it coming back? In the Fall). I saw the Bruschetta Pizza on Facebook, it looked so good I made a bee-line over with my pals!! I love salad pizza, and this looked amazing. No surprise, it was spectacular!! In town just for tonight. Decided to try this place and it was well worth it. Grabbed an order of Risotto Balls, Calzone and Salad. The Risotto Balls were awesome. If I could give this pizzeria 10 stars I would! Yesterday we had them cater our company summer party. They delivered the food and everything was perfect! The food was delicious and hot. All of the condiments were packaged so nicely on the side. The 24” pizza pies were huge, delicious and plenty big enough to feed a large group!
